When the Tor Watch onion will not load
An unreachable onion is usually temporary; the replacement links that appear during the outage are the real risk.
Common error pages
Messages about the onion site not being found or a timeout often mean the service is overloaded or restarting, not that the address changed.
Try again later
Retry after some time or build a new circuit. Hammering refresh rarely helps an overloaded service.
The outage rumour cycle
During downtime, posts claiming to share the new Tor Watch link multiply. Most are unverified and some are traps.
Wait for a dated update
Change your saved torwatch link only when a dated, reviewed source confirms the new address.
