Why long Tor Watch mirror lists are a warning sign
More links feel more helpful, but each one is another chance for an unreviewed address to slip in.
Maintenance burden
Every Tor Watch mirror on a list needs to be rechecked over time. Long lists usually are not.
Mixed origins
Lists collect links from many sources, and one copied address can sit unnoticed among valid ones.
No dates, no trust
A mirror list without review dates gives you nothing to judge freshness by.
Prefer one reviewed link
That is why this monitor shows a single Tor Watch onion link with a status light and date.
