Torwatch URL or clearnet domain: knowing which one you are looking at
Search results often mix onion links with regular websites that talk about them. Telling them apart takes a few seconds.
Onion URLs
An onion URL ends in .onion and only opens inside Tor Browser or a Tor-enabled client. It never has a .com, .net or .org ending.
Clearnet pages
A clearnet torwatch URL is a normal website. It can describe Tor Watch, list links or imitate it, but it is not the onion service itself.
Mixed signals
Be cautious with clearnet pages that ask you to log in, download a client or copy a wallet address. Information pages like this one should never need that.
Keep them apart in your notes
Store onion addresses and clearnet reference pages in separate lists so you never paste one where you meant the other.
